Bullfrog Farm’s Barbecue Sauce

Quick recipe for a GAPS compliant barbecue sauce. This accompanies my pulled pork, pork chops, grilled chicken, and is a great dip for my famous GAPS chicken fingers and fish sticks!

Ingredients:
28 oz can diced tomatoes or 8oz tomato paste or both! Or a few lbs fresh tomatoes, cored and seeded
1/2 Onion
1 head peeled Garlic
1/2 C Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3C Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Citrus Juice (1-2 oranges juiced or 1 lemon)
1/4C Honey
3 Whole Cloves
10 Allspice Berries
1T Chili-Powder
1/4t Fennel seed
1/4t Cumin seed
1/4t Coriander seed
1/4t Mustard seed
2t Salt
Lots of black pepper

Method:
Blend Ingredients until smooth.
Cook at medium temperature, stir frequently, until reduced by 1/3.
Refrigerate or serve warm.
